The trek of 2010. Least explored of all the Garhwal valleys is the Tons valley (a tributary of Yamuna). Even more remote are the valleys of Rupin and Supin (tributaries of Tons), bordering Himachal and off the beaten trail or any kind of trail at all. We traverse these valleys in a spectacular trek involving walking on high ridges for hours at end and a mysterious high altitude lake, Baradsaar, known only to the locals and highly revered.
